Three slow days in the Peloponnese

We flew into Kalamata late and drove south along the coast, windows down, olive trees on both sides. It felt immediately like the right decision. The next morning we walked a short section of the coast path above Kardamyli. It's not a long hike, but the light on the water and the smell of the pines made me want to keep going for days. We didn't. We went and ate a very long lunch instead. That felt right too.
